The second very simple rhythm. It's the fast version of the Chasapiko. This dance which also originated from Minor Asia is performed by a large group of people forming an open circle. The dancers connect to eachother by grabbing each other's shoulders. There are fixed steps and no improvisation. The steps are quite simple. This dance is also known as "Sirtaki". In any tourist attraction they will teach THIS kind of dance (and tell it's called "Sirtaki"...) All Greek dances are performed counter clockwise (I don't know why) so the person on the right (as percieved as a dancer) is always leading the group. It is considered rude to join a circle by becoming the lead dancer. You must join at the middle or the end.
