Ζεμπέκικο Zembekiko 9/4 Slow

The Zembekiko is the classic Rembetika dance. It's a solo performance, usually but not necessarily by men only. The dancer improvises jumps, turns and other skillfull inventions while the other people watch him clapping their hands and kneeling on the floor. The rhythm is very slow and consists of two blocks, an eight beat one and a ten beat one.
