Dynamic Range Increase (DRI) Tutorial for Paint Shop Pro (PSP)The first PSP only tutorial for DRI! Enhance your nightshots using this simple and effective technique.What is it about?Digital cameras have difficulties capturing both very bright and very dark areas on one single photo. Especially when taking night shots this might be a problem: This photo was taken with f3.2/15. The street is well lit but the bright lights (street lamps, illuminated balcony on the left) appear overexposed. For the purpose of DRI we take another shot of the same location (tripod is a must!) with only 1 second: 
By overlaying the two pictures we get a balanced result with both the street illuminated and the lamps visible as seperate entities:  |
